TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAR RENTAL
FRANCE
| LICENCE | All drivers must present a clean valid licence held for at least 12
months. An international Licence is not needed unless the license of country of origin is not in Roman Alphabet, then both licenses must be
presented. ! International licences are not valid without the original country one. |
| AGE LIMITS | Minimum 21 – No upper age limit however we reserve the right to refuse to rent where we believe the client could not handle French road rules and conditions |
| DEPOSIT | by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Amex, Diners) must be in drivers name and first name
:minimum amount authorised is 533.57 EURO (inc VAT) depending on the car group- maximum 3,048.98 EURO

only: 2 different types on credit card in the main driver’s name are
requested: an amount of 1524.49 EURO (inc VAT) will be preauthorized on each
card. Information: Deposits are not debited from the client’s account, but held by the client’s bank during a certain period of time, and then automatically refunded by the bank itself. |
| VOUCHER | Prepaid vouchers must be presented at the time of rental or before the end of the rental in case of any extension.If no voucher copy is received before rental ends, a 25EUR penalty fees applies on refund. |
| THIRD PARTY LIABILITY | Provides unlimited coverage in respect of damage, fire and theft (including glass breakage) to other vehicles and property caused by rental vehicle. |
| DEDUCTIBLE | There is a deductible of between 335.39 EURO (inc VAT) & 762.25 EURO
(inc VAT) on CDW and Theft protection depending on car group: 335.39 EURO –
A,B, C 533.57 EURO – D, H, I762.25 EURO – E, S, O, N,P,K ! In case of any accident, if the client has subscribed to the CDW, or the TPC, he is systematically charged for the deductible, and then he is refunded for the difference between the excess amount and the damage costs, (+ immobilization fees and administration fees). If he has not subscribed to the insurance, he is charged for the whole amount of the damage. |
| DEDUCTIBLE WAIVER | SUPER CDW Deductible: 6.10 EURO/day (inc VAT) for all car
groups, This will only waive the damage not the theft. NOT COVER IN CDW AND THEFT PROTECTION Theft of personal effects or goods in the car, damage within the car from cigarette burns, damage to wheels, tires and parts under the vehicle and damage resulting from the use of incorrect fuel being usedCoverage does not apply beyond the agreed return date. |
| LOST KEYS | Replaced at a charge of 152.42 EURO (inc VAT) Keys have to be returned to the agent at the counter, or in a National mail box if available. If the keys are returned within the closing hours of the agency, the contract is closed at the date and time of the next opening of the agency. |

| ONE WAYS | Subject to availability and must be booked in advance. | CROSS BORDER POLICY | Vehicles can be driven into: Austria, Belgium, Scandinavia, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, UK, Rep of Ireland, Greece, but must be returned to rntl station, Cars can be driven to Corsica but must be returned to the continent and vice versa. |
| INSTANT CONFIRMATION | If reserverd at least 48 Hours in advance you can consider all cars on A, B, C and D groups as confirmed, for other groups we must first check availability. |
| ACCIDENTS | Customer must complete a report form at time of incident. These are provided with the car. Dependent on the circumstances we reserve the right not to replace the vehicle. |
| THEFT | In the case of theft customers must file a police report within 24 hours and return a copy of the police report, the rental agreement and the keys to the rental station. |
| CONDITION OF VEHICLE | Vehicle must be returned, normal wear & tear expected, in the same condition as when rented. If special cleaning is required a separate charge will be made directly to the customer. |
| VAT | 19.6% subject to change (but already included in the rental fee) |

| FUEL POLICY | Cars must be returned full. ! The type of fuel to put in the car is mentioned on the contract, on the car’s documents in the accessories pocket, and on the tank. In case of any doubt, clients have to ask at the gas station. We systematically consider that they are responsible in case of any gas mistake made. |
| SPECIAL WASHING FEES | A cleaning fee can be charged to clients if the car is returned in unacceptable conditions, and if it requires a special washing after the rental. |
